Anita sawhneyAnita is a senior human resource and coaching and mentoring practitioner, with a background in psychology and a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. In previous roles she has specialised in the area of diversity and overseeing employee resource groups in meeting the activities of the strategic HR plan.
With 15 years experience in human resources she has worked in industries spanning technology, management consulting, tourism, local councils and entertainment for both large multinational and SME sized companies. She is a certified psychometric assessor for the Thomas International Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) and studying for a Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring qualification. |
Bianca jonesBianca has specialised in mental health and race awareness training for the last 7 years, her focus is to work together with businesses to dismantle racism and help improve mental health in the workplace.
As creator of the Anti-Racism course Race Ahead and Race Aware, her course is a building block for businesses and individuals to learn about race, racism and its effects on mental health as well as champion change by becoming proactive anti-racism allies. |
Helen farmerEquity, Diversity and Social Inclusion Consultant/ Research Associate Helen works with people who support people from school to boardroom, especially young people and those most underserved; as well as overrepresented people, to remove barriers and provide better access, progress and support. Specialist in the research/ strategy/ set-up/ support of multi-partner programmes, often working across sectors, in overrepresented sectors, working with a wide range of clients from corporates to charities, to universities and employability programmes.
In 2023 her focus is on collaborations for Frank Conversations, curating and creating walks and talks for better listening, decision-making and action - thinking spaces, stories and spaces for better work and workplaces |
jess woodsfordJess is a professional coach, trainer and facilitator, with a passion for equality and social justice. In her role as a coach, she works with individuals and managers to become inclusive and empowering leaders.
Jess previously worked as a senior leader in the public sector, focusing on equality of opportunity to higher education. Jess is the Co-Founder / Co-Director of Inclusive Futures CIC, a not for profit community interest company, which provides coaching programmes to support underrepresented groups to access and succeed in higher education. |
Laura aikenLaura is a Consultant and Founder of Thrive Leadership. She helps businesses understand and manage stress to build cultures of resilience through workshops, programmes and retreats.
Laura has 10 years’ experience in engineering design, construction, commissioning, and start-up and has worked and led teams on several multibillion-dollar engineering and construction projects in the Energy industry. Alongside her work with Thrive Leadership, Laura is a registered yoga teacher and leads transformational retreats around the world, where she brings her experience in mindfulness practices to develop integrative solutions that help leaders build self-awareness, empathy, and resilience. |
serrie chapmanSerrie is the co founder of Women’s Tech Hub Bristol. She is an experienced Engineering Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the semiconductors industry, with a CRTS degree focused in computing for real time studies from University of the West of England. She is currently working as a Requirement Engineering Consultant.
WTH was set up to encourage local women in tech and find ways that they can develop their careers. They are also here to help local companies create a more diverse and inclusive workplace culture that benefits everyone. |
Sarah RIceSarah is a communications expert dedicated to investigating the role employment plays in all our lives. As an award-winning journalist and PR pro, her 25+ year career spans national newspapers and magazines as well as leading on comms programmes for organisations such as Bosch, The RAC and EasyGroup.
Sarah is founder and director of boutique Bristol agency Rice PR, which works with global clients focused on the future of work. Specialist areas include supporting scaling and established businesses communicate meaningfully around EDI and ESG change programmes. A former Trustee and Chair of humanitarian refugee charity Aid Box Community, she is an advocate of equality, social mobility and fair pay for all. |
